Dear Sonia,

"I am writing to tell you how much I enjoy your
music.  The words of your songs are pure & true
& I love the music & your arrangements...
'William' [my grandson] will not go to sleep
unless he hears it. He said (when 4 yrs old), he's
going to marry you when he grows up. You have
a real fan... Your song in the new hymnal is one
of my favorites.  You truly have a gift from God." //
"Your songs are very inspiring. I want to encourage
you to continue with your creative efforts. In this
world of material pursuits your inspiring work &
example make a fine role model for anybody!" //

"Your albums are indeed a MIRACLE ... sparkling
like a light beam. A kind of force that energizes the
spirit thus providing a good rhythm to the mind and
body.  It gives a 'horn of plenty' from our Father
above." //

"As you sat down to compose your lyrics, I am
convinced that Christ wrote them through you... the
words of CHRIST coming from your pen & sung
through your lips!" //

"Your songs are anointed
by the Spirit!" //

"Your music is so inspiring for my family and me.
There have been times when I have felt spiritually
down and sort of empty.  On one such occasion I
was listening to
"Sunshine & Rain" & my heart
soared.  I was inspired to seek God even harder
that day." //

"It's an honour to lend some support, albeit small,
to your noble work.  May the Lord continue
to bless your efforts!" //

"You have a beautiful voice & have chosen such
wonderful music to praise God. I thank God that He
has lead me to your music.  I really enjoy it.
Thank you once again." //

"Your CD arrived today & I have already enjoyed
listening to it once.  I hope you will continue to be
inspired to write & record wonderful songs.
Thanks so much. //

"I had a wonderful surprise and gift in receiving a
cd of your 'In The Light'. The music and words are
truly beautiful and oh so uplifting to listen to....
I often say that a good deed multiplies from leaving
the giver to the individual receiver.  It further does
so each time the music is played & listened to.
I hope this note will uplift & encourage you realizing
the pleasure & peace you have given through your
music & words!" //

"Your songs shine as LIGHTS to those who are
deeply & truly inspired by them". //

2009: "I am so thankful for the songs that God
inspired you to write. My husband Rolf is not a
church member but he ordered the music .... He ...
really enjoys your music as well.  At this time we
need more than ever to hear music like yours!!!
May God guide you to write more....
May God guide you in all things"  //

2009:  "Just love your music and would be so
happy to hear that you are creating more in the
future... it's uplifting and I love to listen to the songs
on Sabbath.  Thank you for helping to make my life
more beautiful." //

2009:  "Just received... 'A New World' and have
listened... already... thanks so much.  I really
enjoyed it.  I hope you are in the planning stage for
other works of yours.  They are so enlightening
and enjoyable to listen to. Thank you so much
for rushing this CD to me...I love it." //
"Wow...I'm so excited!  It's been literally 22+
years!  But, I have loved your very first cassette
tape of "SUNSHINE & RAIN" and had memorized
so many of these songs on your cassette so
MANY years ago.  I mis-placed / lost my
Sunshine & Rain cassette tape several years
ago... TODAY however, I found my old cassette
tape (Sunshine & Rain) that I bought off of a guy...
way, way, way, back when in the Ambassador
years. Wow!

I am THRILLED & happy you are still singing
those beautiful and amazing songs you wrote!
Over the years, your songs have often crept into
my head as i recalled the lyrics & would just sing
them out loud or in my head because they're
filled with giving God glory and so cheerful. They
often brightened me up when I was down, or
simply they've always just made me
joyful to sing them!

Anyhow, my cassette tape is in bad / rusty
condition after all these years, and so...I would
LOVE to purchase your CD now of....Sunshine &
Rain.  ... I would also sing "your" songs to
[my 3
... daughters]
when they were babies and when
they were young, and so wanted to buy a "new"
copy of the tape as it has truly been "worn out"
over the years...but I still have it! :)  Your songs
are a gift from the Lord and I pray you continue on
in writing & singing songs of Hymns &
thanksgiving & praise!  :) Blessings & joy." //

"I think the songs you have written
are beautiful and there is no doubt
in my mind that God has inspired you in a very
special way." //

Jan 2009: "I want to let you know that I appreciate
your music and the CDs ... I was introduced to
your music and songs by a friend... in 2007.  He
gave me the CD  "In the Light" and when I
listened to it, I just cried, as the most beloved
prophecies of the coming Kingdom were
presented to me through the words of your
beautiful music. I can't begin to describe how it
resonated with me ... the things that God has in
store for us are coming soon and your songs are
a beautiful illustration of that Kingdom and
inspire us to hold on to the vision of the
wonderful World Tomorrow; no matter what!  ...
I'm so blessed, and your music is an added
blessing in my life as well. Thank you for allowing
God to use you in providing your gift of prophetic
song to the church.

As we get closer to the prophecies coming true,
the songs become more and more relevant and
almost seem like they were written for our time
now and the end time prophecies." //

2009: "The CDs arrived this week -- and we
LOVE them!!!  They are wonderful!  I'm so glad
that I ordered them.  The music is so uplifting . . .
we sing them around the house and listen to
them whilst we do our work . . . The CDs are a
great improvement over our old tapes too -- they
are clear and not stretched out!!! ;-)  I do hope
and pray that God blesses you with inspiration
for many more beautiful songs. Thanks again." //
I think... [when] you [Sonia] made
the album [
A New World].. you had
the vision of the final days of this
age, and I think you created the
album from the perspective of
being on the brink of the final day
of this age – the day immediately
preceding Christ’s return.

While it is true that “A New World”
doesn’t have the vibrant uplifting
qualities of “Sunshine and Rain”
and “A Time for Everything”,
SHOULD it? You are portraying a
different time. After hearing “In the
Light”, I wonder if “A New World”
should not be the album that
follows it?  That’s where it seems
to fit on the
‘real time’ scale.

"Genesis", for instance, is a
BEAUTIFUL ‘creation’. It certainly
gives a dynamic picture of the
beginning of all things.  Likewise,

“The Gathering of Israel”
is a
beautiful and very inspiring song.

I used to think that the first track,
“A
New World”
wasn’t the best to
begin the album. On the other
hand, it seems more fitting today
as we approach the beginning of
the end of this age. I now see that
it is the ideal song to begin with.

“The Summer of My Life” is a
beautiful love song. It seems to be
sung from the point of view of one
whose romance is potentially
breaking up, but nevertheless
remains committed.  The mood is
perfectly compatible with what the
song was written to portray – in my
opinion. Of course,
in the spiritual
aspec
t, it is also a love song to
God.

“Father Have Mercy” isn’t exactly
uplifting, but is it
SUPPOSED to
be?
It seems to me that it is sung
from the point of view of a
repentant attitude. Shouldn’t that
also convey a certain sadness? I
think the song is entirely
appropriate and conveys exactly
the mood that one should have
when repenting and going to God
for forgiveness and mercy. When I
first listened to the tape, I was
looking to be entertained with
spiritual, inspiring and uplifting
music. What I got was a tape that
rather gave me what I needed,
which isn’t always what I want to
hear. While it is a relief to repent, it
is not exactly a joy to go through it.

“The Law of the Lord” really
conveys the joy that is in keeping
God’s law.
 "Together, My Friend"
is another beautiful song that lifts
us up out of the doldrums and
gives us the incentive to go on to
victory – to endure to the end.  It
really points us to God and walking
together with Him, but it also
brings out the value of having
friends.

“Yerushalayim” is a lively and
joyous song and conveys the joy of
Jerusalem – perhaps
the NEW
Jerusalem?
It is a fitting, inspiring
& uplifting way to end the album." //
