Margaret Helen
Saxby
Margaret lived at 58,
Salters Hill, Upper
Norwood, London.
Her brothers
(one
older & one younger)

gained scholarships to
Dulwich College.
She became a civil
servant and never
married.

d.o.b. 12.6.1913 -
death 26.8.2004.

She later lived at
Addington, Surrey &
then at Felcourt,
East Grinstead.  She
enjoyed gardening,
hand-bell ringing &, in
the late 20's to '60s,
travelled abroad at a
time when package
holidays hadn't
become the norm.

She would go on
walking holidays with
the Holiday Fellowship
to places most people
in Britain would never
have considered
possible at that time; -
Norway & Southern
Europe.

Apart from a few
months of her life she
lived with her parents
until they died & spent
the last years of her life
in a nursing home in
Bognor Regis.
